lyrics

Poetry will get you
nowhere
The dark clouds
will tear you apart

The kids are fine
The kids are alright

New York is a monster
It swallows you up
and spits you out

People try to help you
But their words mean nothing
A broken heart
can't be fixed

They shock you
They block you
But it's too late
Much too late

The only way out
is to go in
The end to you
A new start to me
